Online: Register to vote online here by March 18 with a government document with your address.
In-Person: Anytime during early voting (March 24-April 5) or on election day (April 7).
Required documents: When registering, you need to prove your address. The easiest way to do that is to update your address here in your student center. This is NOT your voter ID!

If you live in the pink borders, congrats, you vote in District 8! On election day, assigned polling locations are Frank Holt Center, Memorial Union, Nicholas Recreation Center, Union South, and Smith Hall.

April 4–5: Early voting without same-day voter registration for the spring election. Vote at any polling location.
April 7 (THE BIG DAY): Spring election
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Vote at your assigned location.

Accepted ID: Wisconsin driver’s licenses, passports, other state-issued ID, military & tribal IDs.
Not accepted: WisCard, non-Wisconsin driver's licenses.
If you don't have acceptable IDs, you can print a voter ID when you vote, at your polling location!
The voter ID is different than the proof of residence you needed when you registered to vote!
